X1 Operating Guidelines
- Drill a hole into the broken fastener using the recommended drill size listed in the specifications table.
- Insert the proper X1 extractor into the drilled hole.
- Turn counterclockwise using a tap wrench or T-handle. Spiral flutes will bite and lift the broken part out.
Note: Penetrating oil may help loosen rusted or corroded parts.
